A bright and sunny start to May with plenty of sunshine throughout the day. Turning cloudier into the afternoon with a few scattered showers developing in places, but dry for most and very warm, the peak of the warm spell. Maximum temperature 24 °C.
A rather mild night with any evening showers soon fading away. Increasingly cloudy from the southwest with the odd spot of rain by dawn. Winds remaining light. Minimum temperature 11 °C.
Widely dry with light winds and plenty of sunny spells. Another warm day, though temperatures down a touch compared with recent days. Maximum temperature 20 °C.
Cooler and cloudier over the bank holiday weekend, but a few brighter spells too. Scattered showers on Saturday, then turning drier for Sunday and Monday. Breezy around the coasts.
