Cold start but largely dry with sunny spells.
A cold, frosty but mostly bright morning. Slowly turning cloudier through the afternoon with patchy rain arriving from the west by early evening. Feeling cold, especially in the southeasterly breeze. Maximum temperature 5 °C.
Cloudier this evening and overnight with outbreaks of mostly light and patchy rain, this turning wintry over the hills at times. Staying breezy, but most places just escaping a frost. Minimum temperature 1 °C.
More unsettled on Saturday with a mixture of rain, hill snow and perhaps some freezing rain at times bringing the risk of icy stretches. Staying cold and breezy. Maximum temperature 5 °C.
Further spells of rain and hill snow likely on Sunday. Turning drier on Monday and then much brighter on Tuesday, but still feeling cold, especially in the breeze.
