Showers return for the morning, but these should generally clear for most during the afternoon, as a ridge of high pressure moves in. Feeling fresher, with a northwesterly breeze. Maximum temperature 21 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Staying on the mixed side, with further showers and longer spells of rain through this period. Some sunnier moments in between. Temperatures around average for early meteorological Autumn.

Potential for some strong and gusty winds at times. Some drier and more settled interludes could develop, perhaps becoming longer in duration across southern areas later in this period.
