Tonight:

Generally cloudy through the evening and overnight. Dry for most areas initially but with patchy rain and mist developing as the night progresses. Light winds. Cool, especially in rural areas. Minimum temperature 07 °C.

Saturday:

A cloudy day and damp start to the day with mist and patchy light rain. The rain becomes more widespread through the day, easing overnight. Feeling cool with light winds. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

High pressure remains dominant. Cloudy with light rain on Sunday, but becoming drier and brighter for Monday and Tuesday. Light winds and temperatures around normal.

At the start of this period, outbreaks of rain across the south of the UK will clear away as clearer conditions spread from the north. A few wintry showers are likely in the far north, but otherwise this will mean a spell of fine and dry weather developing for most areas. Over the following weekend a change to more changeable weather is likely, with Atlantic frontal systems bringing rain and some strong winds. Unsettled or changeable weather will likely continue through the following week. After a cold start, temperatures will probably be above average overall.

During the second half of November, there is an increasing chance of changeable or more unsettled conditions developing, with spells of rain and the potential for strong winds at times. The extent and location of the wettest and windiest weather is very uncertain at this range, with northern and western areas generally most favoured, but there is a chance the wettest conditions could become more focussed across southern parts for a time. Towards the end of November, whilst confidence is very low in the overall weather patterns, there may be a tendency for the tracks of Atlantic lows to shift farther south. Temperatures are likely to be near or above average for much of the period, although colder interludes remain possible, perhaps more especially later in the period.
