Fine and dry this evening. It will remain rather muggy overnight, with most places staying dry. However, some patchy rain may reach Lincolnshire and the far west around dawn. Minimum temperature 16 °C.

Monday:

Mostly cloudy at first but brightening up, with some sunny spells developing. However, winds will steadily strengthen ahead of a band of rain, mostly light, pushing eastwards during the evening. Maximum temperature 22 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Sunny spells and isolated blustery showers Tuesday. Winds and showers gradually easing Wednesday. Dry with light winds and periods of hazy sunshine on Thursday. Temperatures around average for early September.

Temperatures will likely be a little above average overall, with relatively cool nights possible at first tending to reduce in frequency later in the period.
