Mainly dry at first. Rain, heavy at times, will spread east during the morning. Becoming briefly drier later in the afternoon before frequent showers from the west. The wind will strengthen from the morning, reaching gale to severe gale later. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Tonight:

Very windy with Storm Boelo bringing gales or severe gales and frequent and occasionally heavy showers from the west through the evening and overnight. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Sunday:

Storm Boelo will bring severe gales and frequent heavy showers or longer spells of rain. Winds easing with some drier interludes developing later. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Dry and bright morning Monday, becoming windy with rain later. Very windy on Tuesday with showers, some heavy. Winds easing overnight into Wednesday, then bright spells and scattered showers.

After an unsettled start to the week conditions will likely become more settled with rain and stronger winds becoming more confined to northwestern areas. Likely turning drier and calmer across the south and east bringing a greater chance of chilly nights and morning fog patches. A similar pattern then likely continuing during early November though with a chance that settled conditions may develop more widely for a time. Temperatures varying around average.

Slowly evolving weather patterns are more likely than normal during early in November which increase the chance of spells of settled and drier weather. Most areas are still likely to see some rain or showers at times but the focus of these more likely across the northwest of the UK. Into mid-November, the chances of a more unsettled weather regime increases again with more frequent spells of rain for many areas and likely windy at times. Some cold nights possible during more settled spells, otherwise temperatures likely to be close to, perhaps a little above average.
