East mainly dry on Thursday, showery rain in southwest later.
The showers dying out during this evening with clearing skies. Chilly with shallow mist and fog patches by dawn and a touch of frost in shelter. Minimum temperature 2 °C.
A dry and bright start with sunny spells. Cloud increasing with occasional showers through the afternoon and evening, these mainly across Dumfries and Galloway. Maximum temperature 12 °C.
Plenty of dry and settled weather, but there will be some showers around. Feeling pleasant in any sunshine, but chilly at night if skies remain clear.
