Cloudy with showery outbreaks to start on Wednesday, becoming drier later with sunny spells developing. Feeling pleasant in any sunshine with lighter winds. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Turning more settled, largely dry with sunny spells by day. Nights become misty under lighter winds, with fog perhaps lingering into the following morning. Rain arriving later on Saturday.

Pressure is set to build in the vicinity of the UK as we move into early November, with a lot of dry weather as a result. Before this occurs, a weather front bringing some rain will be in place across some western and northern areas at the very start of this period, but is likely to weaken quickly as high pressure takes charge. Within the high pressure, some places, perhaps more likely towards the east, will likely see overnight and morning fog, which at this time of year could take a while to clear and where it lingers, it will remain chilly. Otherwise, temperatures generally fairly close to average for most during this period.

Probably largely settled at first, perhaps with some chilly nights. Moving further into November, there is an increased chance of more unsettled conditions developing, with a return to spells of rain and potential for strong winds. However, the extent and location of wettest or windiest areas is uncertain. Overall, temperatures will probably be near or a little above average.
