A cloudy start, but the cloud retreats to the coast through the morning, leaving plenty of sunshine. Temperatures near average, though cooler along the coast with an onshore breeze. Maximum temperature 25 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Generally cloudy mornings with brighter afternoons to follow. Remaining largely dry throughout. Breezy at times, especially along the coast. Temperatures remaining above average.

High pressure is likely to remain close to the UK into this period, and likely centred to the west or northwest of the country. This means plenty more dry weather for most if not all parts, though with the source region of the air being the North Atlantic, somewhat cooler, or at least less hot, conditions are expected, compared to many recent days.
