Very strong and disruptive winds continue throughout today, but strongest during the morning, especially for hills and coasts. Mostly cloudy with some bright or sunny spells but feeling cold in the wind. Scattered showers, mainly over northern hills. Maximum temperature 12 °C.
Tonight:
Feeling cold as strong winds and showers persist this evening. These will ease through the night and it will feel chilly under clear spells. Minimum temperature 8 °C.
Monday:
Feeling unpleasant through the day with persistent rain and strengthening winds. Rain will be heaviest during the afternoon, then it will ease for a time in the evening. Maximum temperature 12 °C.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
On Tuesday, very strong winds, coastal gales and scattered showers. The showers and strong winds will ease into Wednesday for a bright, breezy day. Fine on Thursday with light winds.
