The evening will be cloudy with frequent showers soon easing. These showers will die as clear spells increase from the late evening. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Monday:

The morning will begin dry with sunny spells. Scattered showery rain will soon spread east becoming widespread and heavy from the late afternoon. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

A few showers east at first Tuesday otherwise cloudy but dry with bright spells Tuesday and Wednesday. Heavy and thundery rain will move northeast from Thursday morning.

The start of this period is likely to be quite unsettled but also widely warm or very warm, perhaps locally hot in parts of the south and east. Some showers and thunderstorms are likely to affect most parts but there will also be some sunshine. Over the weekend and into the start of the following week, most parts will become drier. However, there may be another brief spell of rain with a risk of some thunderstorms, before high pressure more firmly builds in from the west. The rest of the following week looks like being mainly dry with variable cloud and some sunshine and often warm or very warm. The far north may be largely cloudy with a threat of some more rain at times though.

However, although details are uncertain, late June and early July looks like becoming more changeable, with spells of rain or showers probable at times, some of which could be heavy and thundery. Temperatures are likely to be a little above average overall, with brief hot spells possible.
