Dry with sunshine quite widespread, but some misty haar conditions initially around east coasts and in Central Belt. Best highs in seasonally very warm Dumfries and Galloway, but only the mid-teens on the east coast. Winds light northeasterly. Maximum temperature 24 °C.
Cloud increasing across eastern and central areas, bringing some patchy light drizzle in places. Remaining dry in Dumfries and Galloway with late sunshine then overnight clear spells. Winds light northeasterly. Minimum temperature 4 °C.
A cloudy start for most with the chance of some patchy drizzle developing. Soon clearing as dry, sunny fair feeds from the west. Light winds. Warm in the far west. Maximum temperature 22 °C.
The settled weather will hold with parts west of the M74 seeing the best of the prolonged sunshine and warmest afternoon highs. Winds light north to northeast.
