    It will be a dry cold night with lengthy clear spells for most. However a few showers are possible for the Galloway area, with snow on the hills. Minimum temperature -3 °C.

    Friday:

    Very cold conditions. It will be mainly dry with sunny spells, but cloudier at times near the Galloway Rhins and Berwickshire coast where the occasional wintry shower is possible. Maximum temperature 2 °C.

    Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

    Very cold frosty conditions continue. It will be mainly dry with sunny spells, but occasionally cloudier on the coasts with a few snow showers.
