The day will be cloudy and breezy with frequent and heavy showers for all at first. There will be an odd bright spell later with the showers clearing for some towards the evening. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Tonight:

Breezy with clear spells, scattered showers becoming confined to western parts from the evening. Becoming cloudy and windy with outbreaks of rain later. Minimum temperature 1 °C.

Sunday:

A windy and cloudy day with outbreaks of rain, heavy at times but drier across eastern parts. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Unsettled and breezy with showers and outbreaks of rain at times throughout this period. Drier and brighter for a time Wednesday.

The changeable and at times unsettled weather is likely to continue to start this period, with low pressure dominating the UK. This means further showers or longer spells of rain at times. All parts could see some heavy rain, but it is likely that western areas will be wettest. Strong winds are likely at times, with gales possible in the west. Equally there should also be some drier or clearer interludes, these more prevalent further east. A transition to a less unsettled pattern is possible later in the period making drier interludes more common. Above average temperatures are most likely, with a reduced incidence of overnight frost and fog, compared to normal, especially at first.

A transition to a less unsettled pattern is possible through mid-November. With time, there is a greater chance of incidences of high pressure bringing more in the way of dry weather, but also increasing the chances of overnight fog and frost. There may however still be periods of rain, showers, and stronger winds, especially in the west. Weather patterns are very uncertain during late November. Overall, near or above average temperatures are most likely though some colder spells are possible, especially should any prolonged settled spells develop.
