Heavy rain and strong winds associated with storm Bram spread north this morning. Rain easing in the afternoon, but winds increasing with gales for high ground and exposed parts of the east coast. Maximum temperature 12 °C.
Tonight:
Winds strengthen with strong to gale force winds for many places, a risk of severe gales over high ground. Outbreaks of rain in the west, turning to showers overnight. Minimum temperature 7 °C.
Wednesday:
Remaining very windy with a risk of gales across the north, but winds less strong in the south. Scattered showers, turning more frequent for a time. Maximum temperature 9 °C.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
Drier on Thursday and Friday, some sunny spells, but cloud and rain later Thursday and early Friday. Much less windy than recent days. Stronger winds and rain expected on Saturday.
