Winds and showers easing today as Storm Eowyn clears northwards.
Storm Eowyn passing northwards, slowly easing winds. Rather cloudy start with showers, more frequent across Moray and western Aberdeenshire, dwindling from mid-morning, also turning wintry to relatively low levels. Best of shelter around the east coasts where many stay dry. Maximum temperature 7 °C.
Rain, sleet, snow showers feeding from the southwest, with best of shelter to the north of A96. Brisk southwest winds touching near gale across the east coasts. Some Icy patches. Minimum temperature -3 °C.
Some showers early in west, but most staying dry with brighter spells increasing during the morning, then waning in afternoon as higher cloud increases from the south. Winds occasionally strengthening. Maximum temperature 7 °C.
Showers or longer periods of rain and occasionally windy for Monday and Tuesday, then more settled conditions for Wednesday.
