    Headline:

    Cold but dry. Sunny spells, but also brisk, gusty winds.

    Today:

    A cloudy start, but gradually lifting and breaking through the day, to give some sunny spells. However it will be feeling rather cold, especially in the strong and blustery breeze. Maximum temperature 5 °C.

    Tonight:

    Clear spells likely at first, however some coastal mist and patchy cloud will spread inland, with hill fog redeveloping. Staying dry, but feeling cold, especially in the brisk winds. Minimum temperature 0 °C.

    Thursday:

    A dry Christmas Day, with some good spells of sunshine. It will be another cold day, especially in the strong and gusty easterly winds. These particularly strong along eastern coasts. Maximum temperature 5 °C.

    Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

    Variable cloud and some sunny spells throughout, but mainly dry. Rather cold and breezy, although a little less cold and windy compared to over Christmas.
