    Rain clearing to the northeast, leaving a mixture of clear spells and showers overnight. Showers will often be heavy, and may bring isolated hail and thunder. Winds easing somewhat inland but coastal gales continuing overnight. A milder night than previous. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

    Saturday:

    Often cloudy with heavy showers or prolonged spells of rain throughout the day. Small chance of some brighter breaks. Mild for the time of year but with a brisk wind. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

    Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

    Unsettled on Sunday as a rain spreads northeastwards. Noticeably drier through Monday, though occasional heavy showers possible. Increasingly wet through Tuesday, with prolonged heavy downpours and strong winds likely.
