Headline:

Largely cloudy with some heavy showers and strong winds.

This Evening and Tonight:

Mostly dry with clear spells inland this evening, though a few coastal showers continuing. Turning increasingly unsettled overnight, as Storm Ingrid moves in from the southwest bringing further outbreaks of prolonged rain, accompanied by strengthening winds. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Friday:

Rain will clear northeastwards through the morning leaving brighter, but showery weather. However, more persistent rain returning later. A windy day, with a risk of coastal gales. Temperatures around average. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Windy on Saturday with frequent heavy showers. Often cloudy and breezy thereafter, with further outbreaks of rain and showers developing at times. Turning colder next week.
