Scattered coastal showers will come and go, but remaining dry inland. Clear spells in the south under which frost and fog will develop. Cold and cloudy further north. Minimum temperature 3 °C.

Sunday:

Fog will lift through the morning to bring long spells of sunshine. Slightly cloudier further north, but for all it will feel cool, calm and autumnal. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

A foggy, frosty and bright morning on Monday, before cloud thickens. Cloudy and breezy with spells of rain during Tuesday and Wednesday, but temperatures will be milder than previous days.

At the start of this period, outbreaks of rain across the south of the UK will clear away as clearer conditions spread from the north. A few wintry showers are likely in the far north, but otherwise this will mean a spell of fine and dry weather developing for most areas. Over the following weekend a change to more changeable weather is likely, with Atlantic frontal systems bringing rain and some strong winds. Atlantic frontal system are likely to spread across the UK, bringing some heavy rain at times and a chance of strong winds. Drier, brighter interludes are likely between systems, and it is possible conditions could become drier overall into early December. Temperatures are likely to be above normal overall.
