Scattered showers for a few, but plenty of sunshine too.
Today:
Cloudy in the southwest, with scattered, locally heavy showers lingering across Cornwall and western parts of Devon, perhaps with the occasional rumble of thunder. Elsewhere, mainly dry and increasingly sunny through the afternoon. Feeling warm in the sunshine Maximum temperature 22 °C.
Tonight:
Showers gradually ease through this evening, with most places becoming dry overnight. Cool with clear spells in the west, though feeling milder in western counties as cloudier skies return. Minimum temperature 10 °C.
Wednesday:
Warm sunshine will soon burn away the morning cloud, giving plenty of lengthy sunny spells for most by the afternoon, although a few showers may linger in the far southwest. Maximum temperature 23 °C.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
Remaining dry and settled for the rest of the week with a mixture of cloud and sunny periods. Warm in the sunshine, but turning chilly in rural spots overnight.
