    Windy at first, however winds will gradually ease through the day. Sunny spells and just a few showers to start the day, but a brief heavier spell of rain arrives in the afternoon. Temperatures above average for January. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

    Tonight:

    Rain clearing to the east this evening, followed by clear spells and showers. Remaining breezy and mild across the region. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

    Tuesday:

    Cloudy with showers outbreaks of rain at first. Cloud thickens from late afternoon as a spell of prolonged heavy rain moves in from the south. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

    Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

    Less cold than of late, with periods of heavy showers or longer spells of rain. Winds will strengthen at times, though there will also be some occasional brighter interludes.
