Through late March, high pressure is likely to be located to the southwest of UK, with a predominantly westerly or northwesterly airstream in place. Further weather fronts are likely to round this high, bringing occasional rain to the north and perhaps east of the country, whereas areas further southwest stand a better chance of being drier. In this setup, temperatures will probably pan out close to average overall, with some overnight frost where skies are clear and winds light. Into early April and high pressure may become rather more dominant, with many areas seeing dry, settled conditions.
