Showers easing during the early evening, then clouding over from the west with rain arriving during the evening. Feeling cool in the increasingly breezy wind. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Tuesday:

Cloudy and breezy, with rain clearing to the east during the morning. Then followed by frequent heavy showers in the afternoon and well into the evening. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Wednesday breezy with showers. Becoming more settled on Thursday with only the odd isolated shower. A dry and warm day on Friday. Temperatures near average, trending upwards.

High pressure is expected to bring a good deal of fair, warm weather to the UK during the Bank Holiday weekend. It may be cloudier with a chance of some showers across Northern Ireland and Scotland, but even here it will be much warmer than the previous week and there will be plenty of dry weather around too. Through the following week, high pressure is expected to broadly remain in place for much of the UK, and fine weather is likely to continue for most of the country. There may be occasions where low pressure to the north may bring some brief spells of rain across northern parts, but in general fair weather will dominate. Temperatures are expected to be above normal, feeling very warm at times with light winds.

Fair weather is more likely to dominate, at least at first. Rain and showers are possible at times, mainly across Northern Ireland and Scotland, but the main emphasis remains for fine and dry weather for most places. As we head towards mid-June, more mixed conditions are likely with spells of rain and showers. Drier weather is expected between any bouts of wetter weather, these drier interludes will tend to last longer across the south and east of England. Temperatures are most likely to be near or slightly above average overall, with some warm or very warm weather possible.
