Widespread rain across the region through the morning, turning more showery through the afternoon, these heavy and possibly thundery at times. Winds generally light, but blustery around showers. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Mostly dry Sunday and Monday with sunny spells, although showers likely at times. Further rain possible on Tuesday. Temperatures around average for time of year.

Mid-June will probably see a good deal of dry weather across the UK due to the influence of high pressure, especially in the south, although some thundery outbreaks are still possible. Toward the end of June and start of July, details are uncertain but conditions may become more changeable with some periods of unsettled weather. Above average temperatures are more likely than below with some hot spells possible.
