Heavy showers will clear eastwards during the evening. Mostly dry overnight, with clear spells at times. However, a few light showers remain possible, mostly on higher ground. Staying breezy along coasts by dawn. Mild for most. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Sunday:

Showers to start in the north, but turning drier. An increasing risk of showery outbreaks of rain developing as the day progresses, turning heavy over the hills later. Rather windy. Maximum temperature 19 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Staying unsettled, with a mixture of sunny spells and showers each day. Some of the showers could be heavy and thundery. Temperatures a little below normal, with some chilly nights.

Rather unsettled early in this period with Atlantic low pressure systems affecting the UK. These will bring showers or longer spells of rain at times. The wettest conditions will be in the northwest, with more in the way of drier interludes in the southeast. Strong winds may affect parts of the UK at times, especially the northwest. Later in the period, higher pressure and more settled conditions may begin to become more prevalent, especially in the south. There will probably still be some showers or longer spells of rain though. Temperatures are likely to be near or a little above normal overall.

Much of the period may be relatively settled for most of the UK. High pressure is likely to be in the vicinity of the UK bringing drier conditions, perhaps more especially to the south and west. There are likely to still be some showers or longer spells of rain at times though, particularly towards the north. Winds will mostly be on the light side, although spells of strong winds are possible at times in the north. Temperatures will probably be a little above normal and it could be very warm or hot at times in the south.
