Mainly fine, but rather humid and on the cloudy side at times, especially in the west, where one or two light showers are possible. Brightest in the east throughout, with the best sunny spells here. Becoming breezier later, above-average temperatures. Maximum temperature 23 °C.

Tonight:

Becoming cloudier during the evening, with spells of rain punctuated by some heavier bursts moving through later from the west. Becoming drier, cooler and clearer in the northwest by dawn. Minimum temperature 12 °C.

Tuesday:

Early rain soon clearing to a brighter, fresher-feeling day, with some warm sunny spells and a northwesterly wind. Cloudier at times in the west, with isolated showers possible. Maximum temperature 21 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

A changeable period, with nearer-normal temperatures than of late as showers or longer spells of rain move through, interspersed with brighter, drier interludes. Often breezy, with occasionally strong winds.

Remaining changeable, with occasional rain or showers arriving from the North Atlantic, most frequent across northern and western parts of the UK, where some strong winds will also be possible at times. However, there will also be some reasonably dry and more settled periods interspersed, especially across southern areas, with a chance these may extend to more of the UK later in the period. Temperatures for the period as a whole will probably be close to average overall, but there is scope for some rather warm days at times, along with occasional relatively cool nights giving the occasional grass frost.

Most likely remaining changeable, with further spells of rain and showers arriving from the North Atlantic. Strong winds possible too at times, these most frequent across the north and west. Some short-lived settled spells are also possible, these most likely in the south. Temperatures for the period as a whole will probably be close to average overall.
