A mostly cloudy day with outbreaks of rain, persistent and occasionally heavy across western hills. Some drier and brighter spells are possible in the east. Temperatures mild for the time of year, but this offset by strong and gusty winds. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Tonight:

Mostly cloudy this evening. Further outbreaks of rain, heavy at times, moving southwards overnight. Strong and gusty winds continuing. Mild. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

Tuesday:

Mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain, heavy at times, moving northwards. Rain becoming more persistent later. Wind easing a little. Mild. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Remaining unsettled, with outbreaks of rain, heavy at times. Occasionally breezy. Mostly mild, although cool temperatures are possible on Thursday night.

Changeable and at times unsettled weather is likely to continue into the start of this period, with low pressure dominating the UK. This means further showers or longer spells of rain at times. All parts could see some heavy rain, but it is likely that western areas will be wettest. Strong winds are likely at times, with gales possible in the west. Equally there should also be some drier or clearer interludes, these more prevalent further east. A transition to a less unsettled pattern becomes increasingly probable from around the 9th or 10th of the month, making drier interludes increasingly common. Temperatures most likely to be around average, particularly at first, and probably overall. Should it become more settled, the chance of overnight frosts would increase

A greater chance of periods of high pressure bringing more in the way of dry weather, compared to the current weather pattern, which also increases the chances of overnight fog and frost. There will most likely however still be periods of rain, showers, and stronger winds, especially in the west. Weather patterns are very uncertain during late November. Overall, near or above average temperatures are most likely though some colder spells are possible, especially should any prolonged settled spells develop.
