Cloud will thicken from the northwest this evening, heralding a rather wet night to come with some heavy bursts of rain developing at times. Staying quite warm and humid too. Minimum temperature 15 °C.

Friday:

The overnight rain will clear away to the south on Friday morning, leaving a generally dry and bright, though fresher feeling day. Still pleasantly warm in the sunshine, although breezy. Maximum temperature 21 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Another mostly fine day is expected on Saturday with some sunshine. Turning windy on Sunday with rain arriving later, this clearing by Monday to leave a day of sunny spells.

Overall, a fairly unsettled period is likely, with many places seeing showers or longer spells of rain at times, interspersed by drier periods. Rain will likely be most frequent across northern and western areas, while the south and east are more likely to see longer drier interludes. There is also the potential for some strong and gusty winds, particularly in the northwest. Temperatures are likely to be near average, although brief warm or very warm spells are possible, especially in the south.
