Widely dry and bright this evening, although still windy at times. Cloud thickening overnight with scattered showers pushing in from the west. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Saturday:

Bright or sunny spells developing with occasional showers becoming less widespread during the day. Windy and feeling rather cool again. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Generally dry with plenty of fine, bright weather expected. Winds easing by Sunday and remaining fairly light on Monday and Tuesday. Turning slightly warmer.

Temperatures will likely be above normal, with the potential for hot conditions to develop, especially in the south. Into July, the influence of high pressure may weaken or shift more to the north or west of the UK, bringing an increasing chance of more unsettled weather and thunderstorms, especially in the south. Temperatures will probably ease back closer to normal too, although some warm and humid spells are still possible at times.
