It will remain cloudy during the evening and through the night with outbreaks of heavy and perhaps thundery rain. Clearer, drier spells in the west towards morning. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

Sunday:

Cloud and heavy, showery overnight rain clearing north in the morning. Then sunny spells and scattered showers, these heavy at times. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Dry and bright start Monday before cloud and outbreaks of rain through the day. Variable cloud, sunny spells and occasionally heavy showers Tuesday. Further rain or showers on Wednesday.

Low pressure systems will continue to move in from the Atlantic, leading to showers or longer spells of rain at times. The best of the drier conditions are usually more likely towards the south and east, with more frequent rain across the west and northwest. Drier weather may start to become more dominant through the second week of June. Temperatures will be near-normal overall, with the warmest spots most likely across eastern areas. It will also be breezy at times, especially across western parts, and notably so around exposed coasts.

High pressure may become more dominant with weather conditions becoming drier and more settled, although some showery interludes are still possible. Temperatures likely to trend above average as we head further into June, with very warm spells possible in places.
