    Largely dry with variable cloud and clear spells this evening. A band of cloud and rain, locally heavy, will move quickly northeastwards across all parts overnight. Windy. Staying mild. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

    Wednesday:

    Early rain quickly clearing to give a drier and brighter interlude on Wednesday morning, before further outbreaks of rain, locally heavy, moves northwards during the day. Temperatures near normal. Windy. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

    Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

    Rather windy, especially over hills, with a mixture of variable cloud and outbreaks of rain on most days. Daytime temperatures near normal for January, but staying milder overnight.
