This Evening and Tonight:

A band of rain will move eastwards this evening, perhaps falling as sleet or snow briefly over the Moors. This clearing during the early hours. Icy stretches developing where skies clear. Breezy. Less cold than recent nights. Minimum temperature 0 °C.

Wednesday:

Another cold day for many, with some glimmers of sunshine. Rain then returning across Cornwall and west Devon by late afternoon. Gusty winds. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Most likely a dry start on Thursday. Then an increasing risk of heavy rain, along with strong winds, which may linger into Friday. Cold with sunny spells retuning on Saturday.
