Headline:

Drier on Wednesday but flooding an ongoing issue in places.

This Evening and Tonight:

Plenty of showers this evening, often heavy, with ongoing flooding issues in places. Becoming drier overnight but a few showers remain possible. Turning chilly with a chance of frost, fog and icy patches locally, mainly inland and in eastern counties. Minimum temperature 1 °C.

Wednesday:

A much drier day with occasional sunny spells. Perhaps cloudier in the west with showers, occasionally heavy, most likely here. Light southeasterly winds, but rather windy in west Cornwall. Mild. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

The weather will remain rather unsettled to end the week and for the start of the weekend. Often cloudy with some showery rain at times, and still breezy at first.
