Any patchy low cloud first thing this morning will soon burn off leaving a dry bright day with some sunny spells. Very warm or hot Maximum temperature 25 °C.

Tonight:

A dry, warm and bright evening with some hazy sunny periods. It will then remain dry for the rest of the night with clear spells and light winds. Minimum temperature 14 °C.

Wednesday:

Early morning cloud soon burning off to leave another very warm and largely sunny day. Maximum temperature 26 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Hot on Thursday but with the risk of heavy and thundery outbreaks of rain later in the day and into Friday. Fresher by Saturday but risk of showers.

Fairly changeable conditions at first with periods of rain and showers, and there could be some thundery outbreaks at times. There will likely be some drier and brighter spells though. Into July changeable conditions are likely to continue as Atlantic lows move in from the west, but with transient periods of high pressure. This will lead to spells of rain and cloud interspersed with more settled periods. Temperatures remain widely above average, and the far southeast may retain some of the hot temperatures at first, but likely cooler than the preceding few days.

High pressure patterns are looking slightly more likely than low pressure patterns during this period, meaning a greater chance of settled and drier than average conditions. There is still a chance of some changeable or more unsettled conditions developing at times, with a risk of some heavy and thundery showers. Temperatures are likely to be above normal, with a greater than normal chance of hot conditions developing at times.
