    Sunny spells and isolated showers, these most likely across the Pennines, until late afternoon. Then frequent showers will spread east, locally heavy with a small chance of hail and thunder. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

    Tonight:

    Heavy showers will gradually ease during the evening becoming light and isolated, with some breaks developing in the cloud and feeling cold. The winds become light and variable. Minimum temperature 3 °C.

    Monday:

    Sunshine and isolated heavy showers some of which could be thundery. Clouding over from the west as rain and strong winds arrive overnight. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

    Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

    Tuesday breezy with frequent heavy showers. Wednesday breezy with showers or longer spells of rain. Becoming settled and dry on Thursday. Temperatures near average.
