Western parts rather cloudy and damp at first. Brighter in the east, with cloud breaking more generally later to leave some eventual quite pleasant sunny spells after early patchy fog clears. Maximum temperature 10 °C.
Tonight:
Dry with lengthy clear spells overnight allowing a widespread frost and some freezing fog to form. Temperatures much cooler than of late with the keen wind slowly easing. Minimum temperature 1 °C.
Thursday:
Mostly dry with mist and fog slowly clearing to give plenty of afternoon sunshine. Cloud increasing from the south and winds freshening overnight. Maximum temperature 5 °C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
Mostly dry with cloud breaking to give some clear or sunny spells, but also some patchy overnight frost and fog. Temperatures slowly trending downwards, becoming rather cold into the weekend.
