Showers, with possible thunderstorms, will move into the south and west of the UK for a time this weekend, before high pressure becomes re-established.

After a chilly start, it will be a largely dry day with plenty of sunshine. There is a small chance of a few isolated showers developing in the afternoon, but most places should stay dry. Feeling warm in the sunshine. Maximum temperature 23 °C.
Dry tonight with clear spells at first. Temperatures will fall away under the clear skies, allowing a touch of frost and some fog patches to form. Minimum temperature 1 °C.
Mist and fog clearing in the morning to give a dry, warm and sunny day. Breezy and a little fresher around the coast. Maximum temperature 20 °C.
Dry, warm and largely sunny over the next few days with chilly nights. Coastal low cloud and mist may affect the coast at times.
