A mainly dry day with some good sunny spells. However the odd light afternoon shower not to be ruled out for Orkney. Maximum temperature 12 °C.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
Windy and rather cloudy on Tuesday with a few outbreaks of rain. Further showers on Wednesday but winds easing. Drier and sunnier spells developing on Thursday.
